Dorset Geologist<\/strong>\u2019s Association Group (DGAG) will host a Field Trip on the Thursday 28th<\/sup> August 2025.
\n<\/strong>Title:<\/strong> Walking with Dinosaurs Guided Walks \u2013 28 August 2025
\nLeader :<\/strong> led by Andy Melrose (DGAG)
\nTime:<\/strong> Meet at 10 am
\nLocation:<\/strong> Worth Matravers village car park of Wood Henge fame.
\nThe car park is at BH19 3LE or muscular.snuggled.resist (what3words).
\nEntry Cost:<\/strong> Please note that there is a car park honesty box (\u00a33). The DGAG guided walk is free to members, and a \u00a31 fee for non-members. All ages welcome.

\nDescription:<\/strong> You may have heard of the great opportunities to join family friendly Dorset Geologists\u2019 Association Group (DGAG) and\/or National Trust guided walks this Summer to see the 145 million year old dinosaur footprints at the Spyway Quarry in the Purbecks. This is a lovely collaboration between the National Trust\u2019s Purbeck Goes Wild and DGAG.
\nThe DGAG walks will start at the Worth Matravers village car park of Wood Henge fame. The car park is at BH19 3LE or muscular.snuggled.resist (what3words).
\nThe walk is about 2 miles to and from Spyway Quarry and will include a visit to the Square and Compass! If you missed the June walks, we can now confirm 2 more dates in August to join Andy Melrose from DGAG. These are on 14 and 28 August and both guided walks start at 10 am.
\nKeep an eye on both the DGAG website and facebook pages for all updates on these.
\nWe will need willing volunteers to write each of the trips up and thank you in advance for this and of course to the trip leaders above.
