The Dorset GA meanwhile had been campaigning for the rescue of the stones for some time. The first difficulty was finding where they had been stored as nobody seemed to know. Once located a suitable, accessible home had to be identified and, eventually, Bournemouth agreed to have them. With funding supplied by the Curry Fund, all was accomplished except for the ongoing effort to positively identify each of them. When that is accomplished Dorset GA hope to produce some sort of information access available to all interested parties
