Wessex OUGS Field Workshop on Graphical Logging, Upwey

An opportunity to practise geological field skills with an experienced OU geologist, Dr Fiona Hyden.

This workshop aims to give members a basic grounding and some practical experience in graphic logging techniques using an exposure of early Cretaceous, Purbeck strata rocks near Weymouth. The location is easily accessible and is on a bus route.
